Dr. Brian L. Moore is the founder and director of Lifetime Interventions, based in Atlanta, Georgia. Lifetime Interventions provides professional consultation to individuals and businesses regarding stress, substance abuse, interpersonal relationships and reactions to crises. Dr. Moore works with businesses and families to intervene with addicted individuals and provides crisis debriefing for those affected by workplace crime or accidents.
Dr. Moore has served as Director of Psychological Services for Ridgeview Institute and has been recognized as Corporate Community Educator of the Year. He is Coordinator of the Georgia Disaster Response Network, a voluntary professional division of the American Red Cross. Dr. Moore is a member of the American and Georgia Psychological Associations, the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, and the Association of Intervention Specialists.
As Coordinator of the Disaster Response Network, Dr. Moore has led teams providing disaster mental health relief for incidents including the 1996 Olympic Centennial Park Bombing, and recent floods and tornadoes. He has consulted with several prominent national firms on employee trauma resulting from robberies, suicide, workplace violence, and airline crashes including Flights 111, 594, 801, and 867. Dr. Moore has performed almost 300 interventions with an almost 90% success rate.
As a result of Dr. Moore's extensive experience providing psychological services, he has been asked to deliver a number of workshops. Workshops provided include: Dealing With Difficult People; Stress Management; Grief Reactions to Loss; Intervention With the Addicted Individual; and Couples in Recovery.
Dr. Moore earned his Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, his M.S. from Illinois State University and his B.A. from Olivet College. He is a licensed psychologist in the State of Georgia.
